Our Core

EduDelta is essentially a huge community of people working together to accomplish our mission and objectives but it contains a focused, driven core group of youths to plan the project, chart the progress and act as a voice for the entire community. The Core Team is surrounded by a huge group of dedicated volunteers providing manpower as tutors to our tuition programme and ad-hoc activities organized to enrich learning of our students and also expose them to experiential learning.

The Core (minus Jiahao)

EduDelta Core Team is divided into eight main departments. The main functions of each department are as follows:

Education
Responsible for the formulation of EduDelta educational programmes, including specific instructional objectives and ad-hoc activities. Facilitate in assessing EduDelta educational programmes.

Finance
Responsible for the management of EduDelta financial budget and all financial transactions.

Human Resource
Responsible for the recruitment and selection of students, teacher volunteers, and project members. Includes personnel management and resource planning.

IT
Responsible for all technical support and maintenance of EduDelta IT system.

Liaison
Responsible for all liaison activities, including the establishment of communication links with other organisations.

Publicity
Responsible for the awareness and publicity of EduDelta.

Secretary
Responsible for all aspects of administration.

Welfare
Responsible for the welfare of EduDelta personnel.

Currently everyone in the core team holds on to one or more of these department positions and we don’t anticipate that work positions will be permanent in any sense. We hope that everyone can wear several hats – for example, when the secretary is not available for a particular meeting, someone would naturally rise to the occasion to complete the minutes. This would mean that an EduDelta Core Team member is pretty versatile and all are able leaders.
